NSW Public Works plans, designs, maintains, conserves and oversees construction of the majority of the NSW’s public infrastructure, delivering millions of dollars worth of infrastructure to the NSW community each year.

Information & Communications Technology

The Department of Finance and Services works to ensure the NSW Government’s information and communication technology strategies and programs meet the needs of the people of NSW.

ServiceFirst

ServiceFirst delivers customer-focussed, efficient and reliable shared corporate services to NSW Government agencies. Services include payroll, IT support, accommodation and financial services that aim to streamline office processes and provide value for money.

State Records

State Records manages the NSW State archives collection and provides guidelines on the management of official records.

StateFleet

StateFleet is a full service fleet leasing organisation offering a host of services and programs specifically to offer Fleet Management, Accident Management, Vehicle Leasing and ExtraCar - Short Term Rental services.

Land & Housing Corporation

The New South Wales Land & Housing Corporation (LHC) owns and is responsible for the management of the State’s portfolio of some 144,000 social housing dwellings. This portfolio has a value of $31.9 billion.

Land & Property Information

Land and Property Information (LPI), a division of the Department of Finance & Services, is the key provider of land information services in New South Wales.

Metropolitan Water Directorate

The Metropolitan Water Directorate leads a whole-of-government approach to water planning for greater Sydney and the lower Hunter; provides policy advice on water industry competition and reform; delivers recycling funding and support; and implements the Water for Life education and engagement program.

Office of State Revenue

The Office of State Revenue (OSR) administers State taxation and revenue programs for and on behalf of the people of NSW. OSR collects revenue and outstanding fines, helps develop policy and implement legislation.

These policies and guidelines are provided as information for New South Wales government agencies. Their purpose is to assist with planning, managing and implementing Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in a manner consistent with the New South Wales Government ICT Strategic Plan.
